• Customized Consultation

  Every church has its own set of needs. Customized training allows us to come to your church and meet your specific training needs. Customized training can range from creating a vision for the children’s ministry to training nursery workers in infant care.

• Equipping Parents and Families

  Parents are the greatest influence in a child’s spiritual development.  Churches today must see themselves in partnership with parents (not in place of) to spiritually nurture children.  The children’s department can provide the comprehensive planning and training to help churches make that paradigm shift to begin equipping parents to be spiritual leaders in their homes.

• Facility Assessment

  Using your church space and facilities well is critical in being effective.  Facility and space consultations are a great way to ensure you are doing the best with the resources you have available. Please contact the children’s ministry department to schedule a visit to your church.

• Safety and Security

  Safety and security has become a priority for churches. The safety and security workshops can provide your church with not only the facts but the strategies and policies to protect your children and your church. These workshops can be done on a regional level or can be brought to your church.

• Special Needs

  Children with special needs need a place in our churches with warm, friendly, and well trained staff and volunteers. Training and strategic planning is available for establishing integrative ministries for families with children who have special needs.

• Think Tank

  Each year about 20 children’s ministers from across the state are invited to participate in a quarterly Think Tank. The Think Tank is not a committee but rather a time where these children’s ministers can come together to share experiences, thoughts, resources, and ideas to help in the strategic planning  of the children’s ministry department goal to equip Kentucky Baptist churches.
