Kentucky Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers have been actively serving in New York since Hurricane Sandy struck the East Coast in late October 2012. Here is what volunteers have accomplished so far:
Volunteer Days: 2123 Days of ministry
Meals Prepared: 389,085 meals to those affected
Chainsaw Jobs Completed: 8 ( 7 homes and 1 dialysis center assisted)
Mud-out Jobs Completed: 24 homes assisted with clean-up
Showers Provided: 1230 showers
Laundry Loads Provided: 211 loads of laundry
Ministry Contacts: 1313 ministry contacts
Chaplaincy Contacts: 306 chaplaincy contacts
Gospel Presentations: 36 presentations of the Gospel
Decisions for Christ: 10 decisions for Christ with 9 of them Professions of Faith
