Team leader of the KBC Evangelism Church Planting team. The creator of the Church Affinity Evangelism model that is having a huge impact on churches across Kentucky. He will be teaching on how implement affinity evangelism to reach children and families for Christ.
Michael and his wife are the authors of the new book “Own It- Leaving Behind a Borrowed Faith”. According to amazon this book is the 8th bestselling Christian book on the market and is seen in the major motion picture Grace Unplugged. Michael will be teaching about how to build into families an authentic faith for parents and children.
Gary is the children’s minister of Irwin Bible Church in Irwin TX. Gary was recently ranked by Group Publishing’s Children Ministry magazine as one of the top 20 children’s ministers in the nations to watch. Gary will be teaching about discovery based learning in children and how this innovative way of teaching leads children to own what they learn.

We will talk through thinking and learning in children as we define terms, suggest methods, and create a simple thinking skills project. The Bible will be our text and participants can create their “project” specific to any age child.
Keeping Children Engaged (Elementary Age)

Are you tired of thinking of ways to keep your students “entertained” and focused for an hour of Sunday School? Learn how meaningful activities can keep your children engaged in the lesson. A variety of easy, practical, inexpensive ideas will be shared that are effective for all types of learners. The activities and methods are most practical for 3rd through 5th grade, but can be adapted for primary grades.

Naturalists from “Animal Tales” will bring natural occurring objects (and a few live animals) to illustrate how to effectively and creatively teach Creation using easy to come by “backyard” animals and items in the classroom. Learn techniques to prove creation through scientific facts and activities while keeping students engaged. Help your children figure out the truth about dinosaurs, proof in rock layers of The Flood, learn God’s perfect design for each animal, and other cool facts about Creation.
Using Science to Teach God’s Word
