Website: The Worship Leading Choir
Since 1969, Dave Williamson has been worship pastor in churches small, medium and large. A licensed minister, his career path has taken him to churches of several denominations. His choirs and singing groups have been featured on dozens of recordings. He has produced and/or arranged more than 500 major Christian recording projects since 1970. Dave has been nominated for numerous Dove awards, winning multiple times for “Musical of the Year.”
The passion of Dave’s heart is to be part of seeing the choir in the church around the world rediscover God’s original plan for it—becoming worship leaders in the truest sense. Dave has dedicated his life to that objective and, since 2000, he has written and recorded The Worship Leading Choir journal, read and heard by thousands of church music and worship leaders.
Dave lives in Brentwood, Tennessee, with his lyricist/poet/journalist/photographer wife of 40 years, Jan, and near their three married children and eight grandchildren.
