The Acts 1:8 Challenge is an opportunity for Southern Baptist churches to declare their commitment to a comprehensive missions strategy to reach their community (Jerusalem), state (Judea), continent (Samaria) and the world (ends of the earth).
In doing so, a church invites its denominational Acts 1:8 partners – their association, state convention, the North American Mission Board, and the International Mission Board – to assist them. Acts 1:8 Challenge churches benefit from denominational training, resources and missions partnership opportunities.
Why the Acts 1:8 Challenge?
Jesus commanded the church to take the gospel to the ends of the earth and gave us a powerful model in Acts 1:8 that is local, regional, continental, and global. With this model, any church can be a worldwide mission center.
What will it take?
The Church, responding to our Lord’s last recorded words on earth, and accepting the Acts 1:8 Challenge.
Will you and your church join God on His worldwide mission through the Acts 1:8 Challenge? Your Great Commission partners are waiting to assist and to serve you.
