Look around…even if you have to close your eyes…look around. So many women are hurting, lost, weary and feeling abandoned by family, friends and even God.
For some, this is the result of choices made, leading one down a path unthinkable and seemingly unforgivable. For others, life seemed to just happen, catching you off guard without reason or answer. Yet, there is no path, problem or person beyond the power of the Cross.
Other women simply need a time of refreshment…a word of encouragement or to connect with Christian women. Whatever your need, you are invited to Encounter Jesus Christ, for there is still Hope.

Featured Guests
Carol Kent is a popular international speaker best known for being dynamic, humorous, encouraging and biblical. She regularly appears on a wide variety of nationally syndicated radio and television broadcasts. Carol is president of Speak Up Speaker Services, as well as founder and director of Speak Up With Confidence seminars which is committed to helping Christians develop their communication skills. She also founded the nonprofit organization, Speak Up for Hope, which benefits prison inmates and their families.
Carol's message, "Between a Rock and Grace Place," will be filled with encouraging reminders that in every difficult experience we encounter, if we are looking for Divine surprises, we'll find them. When we embrace those challenges in the tight spots of life, we will discover an adventurous journey that produces unexpected joy, unanticipated favor, a strengthened faith, and a meaningful adventure. We'll laugh out loud and wipe a few tears as we discover how to lean into "the grace place."
Abby Rike is a former high school "Teacher of the Year" and is a gifted speaker, but most Americans had never heard of her until May 2009 when she embarked on a very public journey of healing and wellness on the NBC reality show, "The Biggest Loser." The television show is only a piece of Abby's story. Three years before, she suffered an incredible tragedy and says God's grace has sustained and inspired her to heal and to share her testimony of His love and faithfulness.
Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter and multi-Dove Award winner, Crystal Lewis, is this year's Encounter: WOW worship leader! Crystal has had the once-in-a lifetime opportunity to perform with Kirk Franklin, Mary J. Blige, Bono as well as other artists during the 1999 Grammy Awards. In 2000, her "Fearless" release earned her a Grammy nomination for "Best Christian Pop Album of the Year." Today, Crystal's uniqueness and creativity still pour out incorporating her vocal prowess and most importantly the undeniable message of Christ. Crystal Lewis and her band will help us exalt Jesus and encourage worship. Don't miss the special treat of a mini concert at both events!
God answered Tyra's desire to learn sign language by allowing her to master in three months what should have taken years. Those fluent in American Sign Language often ask her if she is a genius. She quickly responds, "no, but I know a genius, God". Now Tyra travels all over the world sharing the message of Hope. She resides in Lawrenceburg, KY, with her husband Jerry and their two children.
New This Year!
During the conference we will celebrate what God has done through Project More Women, this spring’s evangelism initiative.
Pre-Session Workshop
I Have a Story to Tell led by Carol Kent
Carol Kent has trained thousands of Christians in communication skills through the Speak Up Conferences. Sometimes we are afraid to share our faith. One of the easiest ways to combat this fear is with good preparation. Carol will provide a step-by-step guide that will walk you through preparing your personal testimony. You have a powerful story to share with others and this session will help to prepare you to share that story with others.
