8-hour workshop designed to prepare short-term teachers of English in a foreign country. Also helpful to those already teaching English in an established ministry who want to sharpen their skills or teachers who want to refresh their skills. Participants will learn how to plan and prepare for an EFL lesson, introduce new vocabulary, teach pronunciation and involve students in communication activities. Those completing the workshop will receive EFL certification by the North American Mission Board

English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teacher training will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18, at the KBB, Room 174, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This workshop is for those who are going to teach English in a foreign country on a short -term basis or for those who will serve in an existing ministry here in the U. S. This workshop is not the same as English as a Second Language workshop which includes all that is needed for beginning a ministry in the U.S. Also, teachers who need to refresh their skills might be interested.
