As Minister to Annuitants, Harold visits retirees to express the concern of Kentucky Baptists for their health and financial stability. Assistance comes from the Annuity Department with other referrals from Directors of Missions, pastors and associational leadership. Participation is encouraged in the Adopt an Annuitant program and Christian Estate Planning through the Kentucky Baptist Foundation. Annuitant fellowships are a highlight of Harold’s work.

Don Spencer has been on the KBC staff since 1977, serving with the Church Financial Benefits Department for the last 16 years. Issues related to taxes, compensation planning, retirement and insurance are unique when it comes to ministers and church employees. With his expertise as a Certified Financial Planner (tm), he consults with ministers and employees of KBC churches and agencies in these areas. Don serves as Kentucky's state representative for GuideStone, SBC as he helps promote and interpret the various retirement, investment and insurance plans available through GuideStone.
