Cheryl Doty was a librarian who came to KBC in 1987 to catalog the videotape collection. When the archivist needed help with the Kentucky Baptist Historical Commission, Cheryl was given the additional duties associated with the Commission. Now serving as archivist, Cheryl encourages churches to preserve important documents and information for future generations and to write their history, no matter the age of the church, and to keep the history updated every few years. This may not appear to be of importance in the present, but those in the future will greatly appreciate anything of historical value. Cheryl is more than willing to help you with anything associated with preservation and history.
