Big Creek Missions has a variety of needs:
1. Summer volunteers needed to help lead local children’s camps (consists of evangelism, Gospel training, feeding programs, reading programs, physical education programs, healthy eating programs), sports camps, construction ministry, and community ministries. Their staff will work with the teams to connect with residents and build real relationships. Big Creek Missions will prepare and plan for all the food, lodging, worship services and everything else. Their desire is that the mission experience is life-changing, disciple-making, and simple to plan.

2. Seeking volunteer groups of all sizes, all types, and all ages to assist at the ministry center. They have dozens of homes that need repair, and many residents needing assistance. They can connect your group with a variety of mission projects suiting all ages or skill levels. Groups can divide and perform construction projects, visit the elderly, partner with nursing homes and the elderly, work in the food pantry, serve with local clothing centers, or serve in a variety of ways.

3. Seeking skilled groups to assist with building a new shower facility for volunteers that come in to serve. Their ministry center hosts thousands of volunteers per year, and their 60-year old plumbing is in need of replacement. They are building a new shower building that will help to provide handicap accessible, clean, and safe showers for the volunteers. The facility will be traditional construction (metal studs, metal clad exterior), pex plumbing, concrete floors with tile or epoxy coating, and tile walls.
4. Seeking skilled painters to help freshen up the ministry facility. They have recently added new windows and insulation and need to finish up the facility with a good coat of paint! Ten bunk rooms (21×30) and a 200′ long hallway needs to be painted.
Big Creek Missions is a ministry in Southeast Kentucky that is reaching out to families in Leslie, Clay and Perry Counties through a variety of programs.
