Volunteers Needed for race events typically held in June or July and September – race schedule still pending for 2016.
Volunteers will serve on one of the following teams: Kid Zone, Guest Services, ADA Transportation, Employee Welfare Team, Evangelism Team, Campground Team or Cook Team. Each of these teams allows volunteers the opportunity to meet and minister to many different people in a day’s time. Please contact the Kentucky Raceway Ministries for additional information about the ministry of each team and if you have any questions.
KRM also needs volunteers for their Small Event Ministry Team. This team travels throughout the state with the KRM Show Car and Hot Wheels Track attending local church events – Easter Egg Hunts, Block Parties, Car Shows, VBS, etc.
Kentucky Raceway Ministries needs the following items to use in ministry at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta KY during race events and community activities across the state.
· Bibles – please contact KRM for information regarding the Bibles we distribute at events.
· Hot Wheels – used by children (and sometimes adults) during Hot Wheels races at race and community events.
· Case of bottled water – a cold bottle of water is an easy conversation starter on a hot day.
· Homemade Cookies – fans and employees love (and look for) this special treat.
· Special Event Sponsors
Kentucky Raceway Ministries works to meet the physical and spiritual needs of Race Fans and Speedway Employees at Kentucky Speedway during race events, through the unique ministry opportunities God provides them. While most of the ministries are servant based, KRM’s focus is always on being intentionally evangelistic with their faith.
KRM is also forming a Small Event Ministry Team to go into the community with the KRM Show Car and Hot Wheels Track. This is a great opportunity for involvement outside of the track.
