Project Type: Backyard Bible Club/VBS, Block Party, Children/Youth, Creative Ministry/Drama, Evangelism/Community Outreach, Food/Clothing, Home Repair/Renovation, Resource Needs
Length of Assignment: 1 week or less
Assistance with food, toys (if used, must be in good repair), school supplies, coats, hygiene items, bedding, household cleaning and paper products.
They can also use teams to help with sports camps, VBS, hollow parties and home repair.
Freeda Harris Baptist Ministry Center assists families in the extreme southeast area of Kentucky. Annually they help over 1,400 children with Christmas toys and school supplies. They also assist families with food.

Size of Teams: No more than 25, preferably 15-20.
Housing and food preparation:
Teams may stay in motel but most stay at the center. Must bring sleeping bags, cots or air mattresses. May cook meals in the kitchen at the center. Need to provide own food and paper products.

Materials for Project: Teams need to bring materials for home repairs and teaching materials for children’s events
