Project Type: Provide our community with basic physical needs and spiritual needs. Bible Study, Discipleship, Worship, Evangelism, Community Outreach, Prayer.
Length of Assignment: 1 week or less
Volunteer missionaries to assist in the following ways:
Ongoing Ministries: volunteers are requested to assist with Bible devotions, sorting, organizing, stocking donations for the center, prayer walking, personal evangelism, and community service.
Special Ministry Projects: Back to School Week, Easter and Christmas, Haircuts, blood pressure checks.
Ministry Needs include: boots and athletic shoes for the whole family, household items (bath towels, wash cloths, sheet sets, bed pillows, blankets), men’s blue jeans (all sizes), clothes all genders for all seasons, and especially large size clothing (large-5X). All clothing must be clean or new. diapers (all sizes), feminine products, Giant print Bibles (NIV).

Agape House: The house sleeps 18-20 volunteers …1 queen bed and twin bunk beds. Has 3 and 1/2 baths, kitchen fully equipped with 2 stoves, 2 microwaves, refrigerator, washer/dryer. Construction needs include: vinyl siding installation, outside spigot.
The Freedom Center serves the people of Eastern Kentucky by meeting physical needs and sharing the Good News of Christ. The Center provides new and gently used shoes, bed linens, all things kitchen, hygiene products, and clothing for a minimal donation.
