Project Type:
  Backyard Bible Club/VBS, Creative Ministry/Drama, Evangelism/Community Outreach

Length of Assignment:  1 week or less

Need:
Kingdom Kids needs individuals or mission teams to help with one-day, stand-alone Day Camps/VBS, or three to five day sports camp, Creative Ministries camp, boy’s camp, girl’s camp, etc. Volunteers can either assist the current staff or can take the plan, lead, and do the whole day camp themselves.

Teams can host other events such as movie nights and/or block parties, family nights, etc.  Anything you can dream up!

The Pulaski Baptist Association also has smaller churches that need help with VBS during Summer 2018.

Ministry Description:
Kingdom Kids is a children’s ministry of the Pulaski County Baptist Association. They help to connect families into local churches and help assist local churches to provide quality children’s ministry. “Building the Kingdom One Child at a Time” is their motto.

Size of Team Needed: Individuals or Small Teams

Housing & Food Preparation:
Since most of these are one-day camps teams would probably come in for the day only and not need housing. However, there are lots of hotels and restaurants nearby.

There is a possibility that individuals or teams could stay in local homes but would need to call early to get this worked out.

Materials for Project:
Association will provide. However, if a team want to lead the day camp themselves they could use their own material.  Coordinate this with the Director.

Are Background Checks of Volunteers Required for this Project?
Background checks would be good but not necessarily required.  Call for information.
