Project More Women (PMW) gives Kentucky women an opportunity to join together to share their faith with others through personal and service evangelism projects, impacting lives for Christ in Kentucky and beyond! Our ultimate goal is to lead people to Jesus Christ– either for the first time, or through a renewed commitment.

When?

PMW begins when Project Captains submit a project and Project Volunteers sign up for a project. A Project Captain can submit a project now thru April 30. Just remember that all projects will need to be completed by May 31.

Where?

PMW is wherever God leads you to plan and participate in an evangelistic project in Kentucky!

How?

Submit your project as a Project Captain OR sign up to participate in a project as a Project Volunteer. Check out details below and then choose how you wish to participate:

  • Project Captain Information

    1. Project Captains can submit a project to lead OR choose one from the Project More Mission Opportunity List and sign up as Project Captain. Learn more about being a Project Captain below.
    2. Submit a project by April 30.
    3. All PMW participants (Captains and Volunteers) are asked to undergo evangelistic training. There are two training options:
      1. ONLINE. HeartCall evangelistic training is available here.  Scroll down to “HeartCall Training” section below.
      2. ON-SITE at your church if you email us to schedule a training. Training cost per person is $5 payable to the KBC. Your church is expected to provide snacks and lunch for participants at your cost.
    4. Project Captains will submit project results online. We want to know how many people accepted Christ, as well as other details. Review and print the Project More Information Results Sheet. It will help you organize and record details needed to be reported following your project.
    5. You can also track PMW results on our blog at www.crosseyedliving.com

What does it mean to be a Project Captain?

    • Commit to pray daily for Project More Women.
    • You will lead your Project Volunteers in the project which you either submit OR choose one from the Project More Mission Opportunity List.
    • If you chose a project from the Project More Mission Opportunity List, you must contact the project contact listed in order to receive complete instructions. You may do this via email or use the phone number provided. NOTE: if you contact them via email, follow-up with a phone call. Remember, they are providing a great service by listing their ministry as a possible project opportunity. As they are extremely busy, make sure that you, as Project Captain, get all details and share them with your volunteers.
    • If your women’s group already has an evangelistic project that will occur between March 1 and May 31, you can choose to submit a project and serve as Project Captain. Then instruct your Project Volunteers to sign up for your project OR you can sign each person up if you already have a list of your volunteers.
    • Projects can be something that your church will already be doing during this time or something new. Here are just a few ideas:
      • Prayerwalking while looking for opportunities to share your faith
      • Assist a crisis pregnancy center or women’s shelter
      • Select an opportunity from the project list. This list will be updated as often as necessary through May 7 so check back often.
    • All PMW projects should be evangelistic in nature and occur within the window of March 1 and May 31. (Note: only projects allowing direct interaction with individuals in hopes of sharing your faith are considered evangelistic in nature.)
    • Contact your Project Volunteers and give instructions (i.e. the project details, time and date to show up, directions to the location, expectations of for the project, etc.). Encourage others as you follow through with the project.
    • Schedule your project between March 1 and May 31.
    • Complete the evangelism training online (scroll down to the “HeartCall” section) OR email us to plan an evangelistic training at your church.
    • Review the Project More Information Results Sheet before your project date.
    • Each Project Captain will need a Project More Information Results Sheet to complete on project day.
    • Collect sheets OR designate a drop box in a secure location.
    • Compile and Upload results after the project as quickly as possible—prior to midnight, May 31.
    • Sign up for a project as a Volunteer by May 1
    • Choose project from the list
    • All PMW participants (Captains and Volunteers) are asked to undergo evangelistic training. There are two training options:
      • ONLINE. HeartCall evangelistic training is available here.
      • ON-SITE at your church if you email us to schedule a training. Training cost per person is $5 payable to the KBC. Or you can make copies of the material and avoid the $5 per person participant fee.  Your church is expected to provide snacks and lunch for participants at your cost.

HeartCall Evangelism Training

HeartCall is an excellent evangelistic training tool. This four-week study teaches women how to pray, to watch for opportunities to share the Gospel, and to make sure thier walk and talk live up to each other. Watch the training online here:

HeartCall can be adjusted to fit a one-day training schedule, a two-day retreat setting, or a three-hour session.  You can use this relationship building tool (with Christ and then with others) to give your women’s ministry the outreach emphasis needed to share Christ with your neighbor(s).
