Need: Pansy Missionary Baptist Church is in need of a construction team to roof a recreation facility and demo an old parsonage on the church grounds. The roof is unfortunately in such disrepair that it cannot be utilized and prohibits youth from having a space for their activities. We will need a team who can provide the needed materials and labor as we do not have the resources for such a repair.
Additional Details: With the needed repairs and construction complete, Pansy Missionary Baptist Church will be able to serve more youth within the community while at the same time engaging more parents with the hopes of seeing many come to Christ and become part of the church family. The use of the recreation space will allow for expanded ministries to better serve and welcome those within the community. The Harlan community has been devastated by a lack of jobs and this new expansion will serve the community well and, Lord willing, bring hope to lives throughout.
