Phelps Baptist Church is in rural Pike County, in the middle of coal country, and is the eastern most SBC church in Kentucky. Many of the coal mines are closed and this church ministers in a high poverty area.

Housing and Food Preparation: Teams can stay in the church, which has a full kitchen. The pastor has some space in his house where small teams could stay. There are motels in Pikeville, and a Bed & Breakfast close by. Call pastor for information.
