Need:
Mission teams needed to tear down a portion of a building that has been condemned and renovate the remainder of the building, so that it could be used as transitional housing for a family or for a house parent.
They also need repair work done in the kitchen, a new garage door and some painting done.
A volunteer house parent is also needed for weekends.
Ministry Description:
The Lighthouse is a safe place for women and children to stay as they develop habits that lead to total healing: spiritually, emotionally, physically and financially, as they re-establish their lives as a family.
The local Kentucky Baptist association and churches work closely with the Lighthouse.
Housing: Teams will need to find their own housing.
Size of team needed: 15 or less
Materials for projects: Teams will need to provide materials for the projects.
