Ministry Description / Vision
Porter Jessamine Station is the first campus of Porter Memorial Baptist Church in Lexington. While supported by our mother church, we have our own preaching ministry, ministry teams, and missional focus. Launched in August 2024, our goal is to see Jessamine County transformed by the gospel. Through the Spirit’s movement and the faithfulness of God’s people in witnessing and loving as Christ modeled, we pray to see lives changed for His glory.
Ministry & Prayer Updates
We had nineteen come out for a church workday– more than double the amount that came out last year! We also had a dozen people go out on a Wednesday night to prayer walk and put out doorhangers to invite 1000 homes to our Easter worship service.
We earnestly hope that Easter and weeks after can be a great opportunity for sharing the gospel and making connections in our unchurched community that we are able to leverage for kingdom growth.
