Visit the Ark Encounter alongside other Kentucky Baptist pastors and their families on August 5.

This one-day, Pastor/Staff Encouragement event is a gathering of Kentucky Baptist pastors, staff members & spouses for inspiration, growth and fellowship. The event includes lunch, one hour of teaching by Mark Clifton and fun at the Ark Encounter.

Cost

The FIRST 170 Adults to register will get in for FREE!**

The event includes: Lunch, Encouragement with Mark Clifton and access to the ARK Encounter and 40 Days & Nights Christian music festival.

**After the first 170 adult registrants, the cost is $50.00 per person.
**Children 11 and older the cost is $50.00 per person
**Children 10 or younger, the cost is $14.00 per person

This event does not include the cost of parking, which is $15 for standard vehicles.

KBC church pastors, staff and spouses.

Children are welcome, but the free slots are for pastors, staff and spouses only.

Mark Clifton

Mark Clifton is the Senior Director of Replanting at the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. Mark has served as a pastor, church planter, church revitalizer, mission strategist, coach, and mentor to young leaders. He has planted and replanted numerous churches. His experience includes serving as the lead mission strategist for the Kansas/Nebraska Southern Baptist Convention, serving as a church planter in Montreal, Quebec, as a Southern Baptist National Church Planting Missionary for eastern Canada, and leading Southern Baptist church planting projects west of the Mississippi. Mark has been planting, replanting, and providing strategic mission leadership since 1978. Mark, the author of the Reclaiming Glory, co-author of Rubicons of Revitalization, and podcaster on the weekly Revitalize and Replant podcast, is a graduate of William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. Mark is a visiting professor of Church Ministry at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mark and his wife Jill live in Basehor, Kansas and have two sons, two daughters-in-law and four grandsons.

Andy McDonald

Andy McDonald has been in his current role since January 2020. Before becoming a Regional Consultant, he served six years as an Evangelism Strategist for the KBC. Prior to coming to the KBC, he served in four churches in Kentucky and Michigan, primarily in the role of student & discipleship pastor. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry & Cross-Cultural Studies from William Tyndale Bible College, a Master of Art in Christian Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Doctor of Ministry in Church Revitalization from Liberty University. Andy has been joyfully married to Lisa since 1989, they have three wonderful adult sons, an amazing daughter-in-law, and one beautiful granddaughter.
