Sphere Training

Sphere is a useful training for volunteers to plan, implement, and evaluate humanitarian response in crisis-affected communities.
The Sphere training on the Humanitarian Standards includes water supply, sanitation, and hygiene promotion; food security and nutrition; shelter and settlement; and health. This critical training allows teams to gain entry into otherwise closed communities in the midst of crisis.
People who attend, we ask for the intention of using this training by leading/serving on teams internationally. These teams can be initiated by churches, the Kentucky Baptist Convention, or SEND Relief. This is a five-day intensive training. Find more information below.

- Monday – Thursday, 8:30am – 4:30pm with homework taking till 6:30pm.
- Friday, 8:30am – 2pm
Lodging
- Option 1: DR Style at the Kentucky Baptist Building (Free)
- Option 2: Residence Inn – Old Henry by calling 502-244-5800 and request the KBC rate. (On your own $99 a night)
- Option 3: Commute
Meals/Cost
Cost is $50. Lunch will be provided. Breakfast and dinner are on your own. Residence Inn does have complimentary breakfast. Materials will be provided.
