Base Sessions
General Directors Session
We will be offering a Directors Track again this year. The base session will be best practices for VBS planning, promoting, recruiting, and connecting with families. Three bonus sessions will follow for a snapshot of the three curriculums. You choose the snapshot for the curriculum your church will use, Magnify, True North or Wonder Junction.
Connecting with Preschoolers
This session will focus on best practices for teaching and connecting with preschoolers. Play is the name of the game!
Connecting with Younger Elementary Students
This session will focus on best practices for teaching and connecting with younger elementary students, 1-3 grades. These eager young learners are ready to explore new things and soak up all the knowledge and make connections with peers and leaders along the way.
Connecting with Older Elementary Students/Preteens
This session will focus on best practices for older elementary students and preteens. This unique group is ready to dive a bit deeper. They seek authentic relationships and an environment that invites questions and deeper thinking. They are ready to learn, be challenged and love putting their hands and feet to action.
Connecting with Youth
Youth have fast become some of our best leaders at VBS, but some churches are still meeting the need of VBS designed for youth. This session will explore both!
Decorating for Impact
Decorating is one of the most fun and exciting parts of VBS! Come check out the best ways to go big while not breaking the budget.
Recreation at VBS
Games equal engagement. Busy hands and feet equal better listening and meaningful discussion. Come check out games for all curriculums to help lessons stick!
Crafts/Imagination Station/Science
Whatever curriculum your church will use this summer, hands on activities help make the lesson stick. Come preview all the crafts, science and gadgets of our three curriculums in this very hands-on session.
Missions at VBS
Being the hands and feet of Jesus comes quickly after knowing Jesus and understanding the command to share the Gospel. Missions at VBS is a great way to help kids take what they’ve learned and share it with others. Come check out ideas for making this work at your church.
Building your VBS Team
