Louisville-Tom James, the newly elected president of the Kentucky Baptist Convention, has announced his selection of committee leaders.
James said the 14 appointed chairpersons will help guide the future of an organization that seeks to serve nearly 2,400 Southern Baptist churches in the state.
“I can think of no better group of people with whom to serve as we guide Kentucky Baptist churches in our mission of sharing the gospel,” James said.
Of the committee chairpersons chosen by the KBC president, four were re-appointed. Andrew Dyer, Jerry Gifford, Adam Greenway and Garnetta Smith will again chair strategic Mission Board committees. Charles Frazier, who served as chairman of the placement committee last year, returns as chair of the business and finance committee.
