LOUISVILLE—On Nov. 11 from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m., the Kentucky Right to Life Association will host its annual state conference. The focus of the conference will be on the rights of patients of all ages.
The conference, which includes a luncheon, will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Louisville. The conference theme for 2017 is “The Hard Truth: Abortion to Euthanasia.” Featured speakers are author-filmmaker Ann McElhinney and patient-rights advocate Wesley Smith.
The conference aims to bring attendees “up to date” on the “latest threats to human rights—and how to protect yourself, your loved ones, and the most vulnerable members of our society.” McElhinney, who has produced or co-produced the movies “Gosnell” and “Not Evil Just Wrong” will show excerpts from the film along with her presentation.
Other speakers for the event include four pro-life legislators who will address attendees after the luncheon.
General tickets are $45 and student tickets are $25. Registration ends Nov. 9. Visit www.krla.org for more details. (WR)
