Ministry Description: Thistlebend Ministries provides Bible discipleship resources for women– women who are longing for a deeper walk with God, women who are searching, and those seeking to draw closer to God through faithful engagement in Christian biblical disciplines that foster spiritual growth and godliness. We invite women to participate in Bible studies and biblical Christian practices in hospitable settings. As a result, we hope participants will express greater curiosity about God, Scripture, and come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We want them to experience a sense of belonging and relational connection with God and one another through small-group fellowship, and demonstrate initial engagement in at least one regular spiritual practice (e.g., devotional reading, guided prayer). We hope to encourage women to enroll in small groups lead by trained leaders in person and online, allowing us to provide true biblical discipleship.

Prayer Request: Our prayer is that God would grant us His wisdom and strength to follow Him. May God provide all we need to meet women right where they are. May He make a way to reach those who are isolated, discouraged, lost, and lonely. May God send His Spirit to soften women’s hearts, draw them to Himself, and cause them to hunger and thirst for Him and His Word above all things. May they see their sin and see their need for a Savior, and that Jesus is the Lamb of God who died on behalf of sinners just like themselves. May He stir their hearts to love Him and His Word and grant them to passionately desire to follow and serve only Jesus.
