Plan now for Eliza Broadus campaign
It’s never too early to begin planning for your Eliza Broadus Offering campaign! The year’s theme is called “Equipping To Go!” As Kentucky Baptists, we are called to boldly share the gospel. No matter where we are, God is calling us to be on mission through praying, learning, giving and going. While the theme challenges us to support ministries across our state, which equip believers for making disciples who live on mission, it is also a personal challenge to ready ourselves to go!
Our scripture emphasis is Ephesians 4:11-16 (CSB, Christian Standard Bible, with a focus on verse 12).

Together, we’re reaching Kentucky for Christ – 100 percent of your church’s gifts to the Eliza Broadus Offering support the missions and ministries of Kentucky Baptists who are making disciples and engaging unreached people in communities throughout the commonwealth.
So how can you mobilize your church and prepare their hearts for this season of giving?
Prepare. Share. Participate.

•Be intentional about praying and seeking God’s will in leading the EBO emphasis in your church.

•Identify which promotional materials and study guides you will use during your emphasis.
•Schedule a church-wide event or mission project that coordinates with your EBO emphasis.

•Engage your church and spur excitement about the offering. Promotional ideas can be found at https://www.pinterest.com/kentuckywmu/ebo-promotional-ideas/.
•Cast the vision behind the theme. Provide opportunities for church members to learn about the offering and why we participate.
•Share the videos in your Sunday services leading up to your Week of Prayer emphasis or giving Sunday.
September | Participate
•During the Week of Prayer, consider substituting Sunday School material or Wednesday night curriculum with the EBO study guides and using the pastor’s sermon outline.
•Encourage your church members to use the prayer guide and pray daily for the featured ministries and countless others, doing whatever it takes to advance the gospel throughout Kentucky.
•Give. Encourage your church family to give sacrificially for the sake of the gospel. Reaching a state goal should never be the sole reason we give. We give sacrificially to make Him known. We give to support kingdom work in places we can’t go. We give so that people can hear the gospel and find hope in Christ. Materials will be posted to the website beginning mid-July.
