Matt Fisher and his family came to us from California after a search on the internet for Bible colleges.
“I come from a family with very little church background,” said Fisher. “It wasn’t until I was a freshman in high school that I made the decision to put my faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Immediately I felt the call to ministry, but without the support of a strong Christian family, I simply ran away from His calling and ended up out of church altogether.”
“Six years ago, my wife and I found our way back to church. Under the strong conviction of the Holy Spirit on our hearts, we made a decision to follow Christ in ministry turning our lives over completely to Him. I always thought that going back to school with a wife and three kids would be completely out of the question for me.”
My wife was searching for family Bible colleges on the internet when we found Clear Creek Baptist Bible College,” said Fisher. “It really seemed too good to be true; affordable housing, affordable child care, the opportunity to work towards my tuition, and the ability to study the Bible and prepare for ministry. I thought there had to be a catch. My wife and I visited the campus to speak with the administration and figure out if this was really what God had planned for us. We had a strong sense that this was what God had been preparing for us to do. So, we decided to put our trust in Him and sold most of our belongings and moved to Kentucky.”
“Classes at Clear Creak have been very challenging,” said Fisher. “They have also proved to be very rewarding. I cannot even begin to express with words how blessed I am to be at The Creek. Our family prays regularly thanking God for bringing us here.”
“My advice to anyone thinking about coming to Clear Creek would be to come here and check it out,” said Fisher. Talk with the deans, talk with the financial aid office, talk with the teachers and students. Clear Creek Baptist Bible College really is a first-class opportunity for God called leaders to prepare for the life and ministry He has called you to.”
