Louisville–Kentucky Baptist seniors are deciding in droves to attend Senior Living Celebrations.
The Kentucky Baptist Convention event saw an early registration rush of more than 550 people. That’s about 50 shy of last year—and the first celebration is still a month away.
“We give thanks to God for our Kentucky Baptist seniors and we want to encourage them to put on the full armor of God every day,” said KBC Women’s and Senior Adult Consultant Shelly Johns White.
Seniors have the first opportunity to get armored for victory on April 18 at Madisonville Baptist Church. Two more events follow on April 19 at Severns Valley Baptist Church in Elizabethtown and April 21 at First Baptist Church of Richmond.
“Senior Living Celebrations encourage seniors to connect with God, each other and live obediently for Christ,” White said, “and this segment of the church still has much to do in the service of our Lord.”
Hear words of inspiration from several of KBC’s regional consultants and enjoy the musical talents of five-time Grammy award winner Larnelle Harris.
Receive valuable information and inspiration from more than a dozen breakout sessions at each location.
Registration for Senior Living Celebrations is only $20. After April 11, the fee increases to $25. For more information, visit www.kybaptist.org/seniorcelebration.
