I am a journeyman living in a large Central Asian capital city. While there are some believers and churches in my city, 99.97% of the people in the country would consider themselves Muslims. My team is focused on discipling and mobilizing the local churches in the capital to have a heart to reach the many unreached people and places in our country. Through a humanitarian aid NGO, we also work alongside local partners to bring clean water and the good news to villages across the country. As I am about halfway through my term, much of my work has looked like language and culture learning while seeking to share the good news with friends and disciple local believers. As I begin my second year, I will be joining our NGO to help see the gospel reach more rural areas in our country.
