Walt & Marla Cedar

Walt and Marla Cedar are pseudonyms for this family that has been working in the Muslim world since 1997. Their work is focused on small tribal groups in a country where Americans are not welcome and nationals are persecuted for following Jesus. The Cedar’s led a 14-year effort to create a short gospel video in the 107 languages of their region and continue to reach out to unreached people groups.

Marla was born in West Liberty, grew up in Leitchfield, and is a graduate of Grayson County High School. Walt & Marla are both members of Leitchfield First Baptist Church.
