Doug Williams is the Missions Mobilization Team Leader. He was previously the Missions Strategist for the Kentucky Baptist Convention since January 2014. He is passionate about helping churches develop Great Commission impact locally and globally. In addition to serving as Mission Strategist, Doug also leads mission partnerships in North America and Internationally. Prior to joining the staff at the KBC, he pastored churches in Kentucky and Tennessee. Doug is a graduate from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College as well as Southern Seminary. He is married to his middle school sweetheart, Cathy. They have four children and three grandchildren.
How Doug helps churches:
Doug leads a team that is committed to equipping and encouraging believers to engage Kentucky, our nation, and the world with the gospel of Christ. He helps churches identify and meet community needs while sharing the gospel, providing assessments, training, networking and relevant resources. Doug also coordinates the work of Baptists associations and associational mission strategists, assisting with associational assessments, training, strategy development, and leader care.
