CADIZ—Little River Baptist Association has called Paxton Redd as director of missions.
Redd served as pastor of Oak Grove Baptist Church for five years before accepting the new position. Under his leadership, the Cadiz church experienced increased attendance and baptisms.
Redd is actively involved with the Kentucky Baptist Convention having served as a member of the Mission Board and chairman of the KBC Missions Mobilization Committee.
Prior to Oak Grove, Redd was minister of children and youth at Robinson Creek Baptist Church in Campbellsville and associate pastor of Liberty Point Baptist Church in Cadiz.
Redd is a 2014 graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville.
He and wife Chelsey have three daughters, Elli, 7, Lydia, 6 and Ada, 2. (KBC)
