Need:
There are ALWAYS things to be done on Bright Life Farm’s 27 acres and in their 4 homes. Volunteer teams are needed for smaller building projects.
Fellowship: The residents love Bible study, VBS and interactions (crafts, games, fellowship, singing) with all age groups. Teams are welcome to come and share with the residents. A need year round is help with general maintenance, landscaping, painting, clean-up, etc. on all existing areas and buildings.

General Supplies Needed Year Round include anything you use in your home only multiplied by their family of 24 and 3 homes. Those are: office supplies (copy paper, envelopes of all sizes, stamps, printer ink), cleaning supplies (Pinesol, bleach, laundry detergents & softeners, dishwashing detergent, garbage bags – 13 & 30 gallon, spray disinfectant, lg and xlg disposable latex gloves, Windex, furniture polish), paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, Styrofoam cups & plates), food – pantry items always (ex: soups, pasta and sauces, coffee, tea, peanut butter, cereals/oatmeal, beans, canned vegetables and fruit, healthy snacks, juices, plus milk money!) & personal items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoos, bar soap, deodorant, lotions, Neosporin ointment, band aids, sunscreen, shaving cream and razors), pj’s – lg to 2xlg for men and women, twin bed lines – regular and x-long twin).
Ministry Description:
Bright Life Farms are Christian homes where mentally or developmentally challenged adults live in a happy, protective and secure environment with 24-7 care. Bright Life is state licensed as a group home, but are not state funded. As a private, intermediate care Christian facility there is a great need for sponsors to help with financial assistance for residents to live there.

Dates Volunteers are Needed: Open/Ongoing. Volunteers needed most any time.
Size of Teams: Varies (1 up to 25)
Housing and Food Preparation: Bright Life cannot provide food, but they do have 2 fully-equipped kitchens for preparation of mission team meals. Bright Life can provide on-site for sleeping and bathroom accommodations for up to 25. They also have the ability for campers to be hooked up.
