Need: Mission team support to operate the free restaurant ministry. Outreach opportunities through various avenues. Build relationships with our community. Share the gospel.
- Lunch ministry – from preparing to clean up of lunch
- Hair & nail salon – wash, cut, and style hair; manicures while sharing the gospel
- Giveaways – bringing clothing, stable food items, baby items, hygiene, cleaning supplies, or other items
- Facility upkeep and improvements – our building is older and is always in need of special attention (currently: roof replacement, gutter and downspout replacement, painting, facia board repair, flooring in restroom and hallway)
Ministry Description:
We are a compassion-based church ministry seeking to address the pressing physical needs in our area as we share the gospel and love of Jesus. Our county is ranked in the poorest counties in the nation. Spiritual poverty is just as evident as physical poverty. We meet the physical needs through the ministry outreaches primarily through the free restaurant. Our faith family is very involved in serving at The Lord’s Cafe. We have been experiencing growth through the “front door” ministry opportunities. Mission teams come and add support for the faith family to love our community.
