Currently, the core team meets every Sunday evening at 6:00 PM. Once we launch, we plan to meet on Sunday mornings for corporate worship at 9:30 AM and Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM.

Ministry Description / Vision
Living Word Baptist Church exists to glorify God by proclaiming the gospel, making disciples, and loving one another. We are committed to following the teachings of the Bible and desire to grow in loving and serving God in Stanford, KY and beyond.
Ministry & Prayer Updates
We had our first service on June 28th. God was very gracious, and it was a wonderful day. There were around 50 people. After the service, the core team shared a meal, and then we had a covenanting service. It was an encouraging day, and we are excited to finally be established as a church.
We are planning to start attending the local farmer’s market that the city hosts downtown the first Thursday of every month. At the event, we will talk with people, hand out tracts, and invite people to our services. We will continue to go door to door to invite people to evangelize and invite people to church.
Please continue to pray for us to have evangelistic zeal and to interact with the people in the community as often as we can. Pray that many lost people would come to our services and hear the Gospel proclaimed. Finally, pray for some of our core team members who are moving to the area from Somerset this week.
