LOUISVILLE—The president of the Kentucky Baptist Convention has appointed 14 new leaders to head up convention and Mission Board committees.
It was one of Tim Searcy’s first official actions since he was elected at KBC’s annual meeting in Pikeville in November. Searcy is pastor of Allen Baptist Church near Prestonsburg.
Appointees to KBC committees include:
Committee on Annual Meeting—Jeremy Atwood, pastor, Immanuel Church, Glasgow.
Committee on Committees—French Harmon, pastor, First Church, Somerset.
Committee on Constitution & Bylaws—Jamie Reynolds, associational mission strategist, Three Forks Association, Hazard.
Committee on Credentials—Mark Helton, pastor, First Church, Monticello.
Committee on Nominations—Jason Lowe, associational mission strategist, Pike Association, Pikeville.
Committee on Public Affairs—Greg Lakes, pastor, Pilot Knob Church, Berea.
Committee on Resolutions—Adam Greenway, dean, Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism, and Ministry, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville.
