We have passed overwhelmingly a non-binding resolution about something few of us were doing in the first place. Now let’s buckle down to our present world and tackle a real live issue.

Let’s encourage all organized Baptist groups, whether national, state, or associational, to join us in a resolution against the prostitution of God’s beautiful rainbow symbol of grace to encourage a false “life-style,” whether used by preachers or politicians up to and including the White House.

Preaching Romans 1 must not become a “hate crime,” and we need to use our influence to make God’s standard clear. “Such were some of you!” The rainbow does not mean there will not be “the fire next time.”
