Brian Horton serves as the Church Replanting Strategist for the Kentucky Baptist Convention. Brian believes that every church matters in proclaiming the gospel to the nations. He is native of South Carolina and is a graduate of Spartanburg Methodist College (A.A.), the University of South Carolina-Upstate (B.A.) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.A., D.Ed.Min). Previously, Brian served as Mission Strategist for the Greenup Baptist Association. He has also served as Senior Pastor, Minister of Education, and Student Pastor in churches in Kentucky, Georgia, South Carolina and Virginia. Brian is married to Tara Cannon Horton, and they have one son, Adam. Brian enjoys a good suspenseful TV series, working puzzles and listening to audio books with Tara. He also loves baseball, especially the Philadelphia Phillies.
