For larger church groups, please ensure that one adult leader is sent for every five students of the same gender.

2026 Camp Pastor

Tim Harris is the Lead Pastor of Woodburn Baptist Church in his hometown of Woodburn, where he has served since 1996. He went to Western Kentucky University to study art and later earned his Master of Divinity and Ph.D. from Southern Seminary in Louisville.

Tim loves being a pastor because he gets to care for people and help them learn about the faith, hope, and love of Jesus.

When he’s not at church, Tim is an artist and a runner. He enjoys the beach, pizza, and singing loudly in his car. Tim has been married to his wife, Kacy, for nearly 40 years. Kacy teaches nursing at WKU. They have a son named Wade, who lives in Nashville with his wife, Marti, and their son, Wesley Jude.

2026 Worship Leader

Luke Starkel is the Worship Director at the East Campus of Highview Baptist Church and Praise and Music teacher at Whitefield Academy. He loves the local church and is passionate about leading worship that is both musically excellent and doctrinally sound.

Luke received a bachelor’s in worship and music at Boyce College, with a focus on songwriting. He believes worship should always point people to Jesus and the message of the Gospel. Luke enjoys helping musicians grow and leading the church to see the beauty of Christ through song.

Luke is married to his wife, Molly, and they have two daughters, Charlotte and Dorothy.
