Need:
Mission teams to do VBS, sports camps, outreach events, backyard Bible clubs.
Would like to have 6 summer mission teams to adopt 1 week during 2022 to do VBS at the Elizabethtown, KY facility. Schedule before April 1, 2022 to allow for planning by Mission Hope for Kids staff. The weeks needed are:
- Week of June 6
- Week of June 13
- Week of June 20
- Week of June 27
- Week of July 4
- Week of July 11
Mission teams can also do door-to-door outreach and organizing, cleaning & painting.
Interns are also needed to assist with administration during summer months.
Ministry Description:
Mission Hope for Kids is a mission that offers a safe place & nurturing environment for school age children grades K – 12. They provide meals, recreation, educational, emotional, & spiritual support.
Mission Hope for Kids is open Monday – Friday year round with access to a Boutique and classes for parents during the day.

Housing and Food Preparation:
Will inquire about staying at a local church in Radcliff, KY. Bring your kitchen crew to prepare meals for your team.
Cost Per Person (if applicable): No cost but love offering welcome.
Materials for Project:
Collections: Hygiene items, colors/coloring books, socks, backpacks, mechanical pencils are needed.
Teams need to provide all VBS materials for 75-100 elementary agers.
VBS CD/DVD’s
Food: minimal cost.
Are Background Checks of Volunteers Required for this project? Call for information.
Other: MHFK is closed the last two weeks of July for a much deserved break for those who labor at the mission year-round. In order to allow ample time to coordinate and plan for mission teams, inquiries/reservations should be made before April 1st.
