Ministry Description / Vision
We are a Christ-centered, Cross-bearing Church with One Cross, One Mission for All Nations. Located in Lexington, Kentucky, we serve a rapidly growing population of Indians or South East Asians who are currently considered an unreached people group. Our goal is to see every nation, tribe, and people be transformed by the Gospel and be united in Christ’s love. We strive to make disciples who disciple others, crossing cultural barriers with the power of the Cross, living out the Great Commission, and reflecting Christ’s sacrificial love in all we do.
Ministry & Prayer Updates
March saw two significant celebrations that clearly illustrated our faith: our first Traditional Sunday and a lively Palm Sunday observance. On Traditional Sunday, members dressed in vibrant garments representing their diverse tribal heritages, making a strong, visual statement that Christianity transcends cultural boundaries and belongs to all nations. This was more than a cultural display; it was a powerful proclamation of the Gospel through presence. Our Palm Sunday procession took us back to our homelands as we marched across the campus, voices rising in “Hosanna!” for all to hear. Neighbors paused to watch, drivers slowed down, and passersby observed our joyful praise of the Savior. That day, we didn’t just quietly express our faith—we proclaimed it openly and confidently. We are also excited to share that Cross Culture Church partnered with Irish Town Baptist Mission to provide food support for their community compassion ministry. This marks our first formal mission partnership with a neighboring church, demonstrating beautifully how Christ’s body works together for community good. As we dedicated resources and effort to this project, we saw firsthand the impact of our service. The tangible food supplies, shared effort, and unified Gospel witness across denominational lines send a clear message to our community: Christians genuinely care about real needs, not just Sunday services.
