FRIDAY

Each session will feature two, engaging speakers, Spirit-filled worship and a special ministry focus. At the end of each session, participants will have the opportunity to learn from one another, pray together and consider the teaching in small groups.

7:00 pm – Session I

Elaina Barron – Identity – Romans 8:1, John 21:15-17 and Psalms 34:4-5, 18-20 – In this session we will examine the difference between shame and guilt and how the truth of being “in Him” rescues Christians from shame. How is the lie of shame driving our anxiety, and how can we combat it?

Dr. Emily Dean – Identity – Genesis 1:27 –  As women, our identities often connect to the many hats we wear. Yet, where does our true identity come from? In this session, we will examine the unique nature of our identities as women created in the image of God.

Worship with Jonathan and Emily Martin
Humble Faith Ministries – Ministry Focus

9:00 pm – S’mores Fellowship

SATURDAY

9:00 am – Session II

Shari Edwards – Purpose – 2 Peter 1:5-10 and 1 Corinthians 15:58 – Do you grasp the importance of your purpose? God has positioned us and entrusted us to serve Him where He has placed us in order to accomplish His kingdom purposes right where we are. We’ve been given a mandate to meet women where they are with the hope of the gospel-our purpose matters because eternity matters.

Ron Edmondson – Purpose – Ephesians 2:10 and Ephesians 4:1-16 – How can women live out their purpose? Once we are “in Christ” (Paul’s terminology) then our chief purpose is to use whatever gifts, talents and resources we have to help other people find that same identity. We are to be ambassadors of reconciliation. Promoters of the Great commission.

Sara Robinson – Calling – Isaiah 6:5-8 – What is our response to the calling of God in our lives? How do we respond to a Holy God when called to serve him in some way? May our heart’s cry be, “Here am I, Send me.”
