Plenary Speaker 2025: Mark Hallock

Plenary Session #1: Personal Renewal

For a church to experience spiritual renewal, it begins with the leaders of that congregation. In this session, we will consider what must happen to pastors and church leaders spiritually for a church to experience Spirit-empowered renewal.

Session #2: Pastoral Renewal

As a pastor, you can have all the gifts and abilities in the world, but what matters most is having the right heart before the Lord and before those you lead. This is the key to pastoral renewal. “Who you are” as a leader is far more important than “what you do” as a leader in the work of shepherding your church toward renewal. In this session, we will talk about how to practically lead others with Christ-like humility and love.

Session #3: Congregational Renewal

What is required of congregations for a church to experience renewal? In this session, we will consider several catalysts for renewal that are needed to lead a church from simply surviving to thriving.

Mark Hallock serves as the Lead Pastor of Calvary Church in Englewood, Colorado. He also serves as President of the Calvary Family of Churches, a family of churches committed to planting and replanting churches for the glory of God (thecalvary.org). His great desire is to see the gospel transform lives and neighborhoods through the planting of new congregations, along with the revitalization of declining congregations, throughout the city of Denver and beyond. He has written a number of books including Leading Church Revitalization, Replant Roadmap, and The Relentless Encourager. Mark is married to Jenna, and they have two kids, Zoe and Eli.
