Chris & Rhonda Richard
Type: IMB
We are city team leaders in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We also host a church plant and our English conversation club in our home. Our team consists of two journeymen, our US mission team coordinator, our university campus ministry leader, and our logistics coordinators. We work primarily with university students, of which there are 500,000 in the city, and young adults. We partner with the local association of Baptist churches, ABUA (campus ministry), CRU (campus ministry) and Palabra de Vida (Word of Life Bible Institute).
Our sending church is Hebron Baptist Church in Hebron, KY. We were married in the church in October 2011. Before leaving for the mission field, we lived in neighboring Burlington, KY. At the time of our departure for the mission field, Rhonda served in the children’s ministry in the church and I (Chris) served as the director of discipleship.
