James & Teresa Perkins

James and Teresa Perkins are new missionaries currently in Mexico learning the culture and completing language school. They will soon transition to Peru where they will serve among the indigenous communities of the Andes Mountains. Their heart is to walk alongside the people there and share the hope of Christ in meaningful ways.
Kentucky Connections
James grew up in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, and has degrees from WKU and the University of the Cumberlands. Teresa moved to Kentucky for her education and pursued a career in education. Since getting married, they have lived in Hancock, Daviess, and McLean counties. Prior to serving with the IMB, James served on staff at Calhoun Baptist and their sending church is Green Brier Baptist.
