Andy McDonald has been in his current role since January 2020. Before to becoming a Regional Consultant, he served six years as an Evangelism Strategist for the KBC. Prior to coming to the KBC, he served in four churches in Kentucky and Michigan, primarily in the role of student & discipleship pastor. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry & Cross Cultural Studies from William Tyndale Bible College and a Master’s of Art in Christian Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Andy has been joyfully married to Lisa since 1989, they have three wonderful adult sons, two amazing daughters-in-law (with another wedding in 2023) and two dogs.
How Andy helps churches:
Andy serves pastors, staff members and churches in the North Central Region in variety of ways. He meets regularly with churches and leaders to provide consulting services, training, networking, and coaching/encouragement. Primarily, he works with pastors in church revitalization efforts. He also provides training in a variety of contexts: deacons, stewardship, first impressions, search committees, etc. Andy works closely with AMS’s, pastors and staff members to connect each with their peers for encouragement, mentors for growth, and KBC staff for greater impact in a specific areas of ministry. He is available to provide coaching to pastors and other church leaders to help them achieve personal and ministry growth goals.
