Chip Hutcheson has served as interim managing editor of the Western Recorder, interim communications director for KBC and now is content strategist for Kentucky Today. He wants to report on how the Lord is working in the lives of Kentucky Baptists and their churches. He has a journalism degree from the University of Kentucky, and was a community newspaper publisher for 41 years, retiring from that role when called into ministry at age 68. He left retirement to begin working at KBC in March 2019. He and his wife, Karen, are members of West Broadway Baptist Church in Louisville, and he does supply preaching and interim pastorates.
How Chip helps churches:
Chip helps churches not only by reporting on their kingdom work in Kentucky Today stories, but is available to help pastors and churches with a variety of needs, including Cooperative Program training, deacon training and filling pulpits whenever needed.
