Jonathan Berry began serving as the Sunday School and Discipleship Consultant for the Kentucky Baptist Convention in 2026. Before coming to the KBC, he served for 19 years as an associate pastor in three churches, including 16 years in Kentucky. Most recently he served at Versailles Baptist Church in the areas of Discipleship and Missions, and this is also where he, his wife, and their four children continue to be faithful members. Jonathan earned his undergraduate degree from what is now Mississippi Christian University and holds a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
How Jonathan helps churches:
Jonathan desires to help churches strengthen their Sunday School and discipleship ministries through consultation, training, encouragement, equipping events, and practical resources. He works with pastors, associations, and church leaders to develop healthy groups, equip leaders, and create clear discipleship pathways that help churches make disciples in their local context.
