Junction City First Baptist Church in Danville will host the inaugural service for newly-elected State Auditor Mike Harmon on Sunday, Dec. 27 at 6 p.m. Choe Sergent is the pastor.

Harmon is a deacon at the church, according to Sergent. The church is located at 3860 S Highway 127 South, two miles south of Danville.

Governor-elect Matt Bevin also had planned to hold his inaugural worship service at a Kentucky Baptist church, but has since changed venues.

Bevin is not a Kentucky Baptist, but has close ties to The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville.
