It’s no secret at all. The first thing any college student, and even Bible college students, want to know is, “How much is my ministry training going to cost me?”
We all know that the Financial Aid Office is the most popular place on our campus. That is where students receive the news of being recipients of financial aid because of the joy of giving that Kentucky Baptists have, which inspires them to give to the Cooperative Program. Part of that comes to Clear Creek to support students who have been called of God to train for ministry.
One hundred percent of our students receive some sort of financial aid as they follow God’s call to receive ministry training at Clear Creek Baptist Bible College. That is only possible because of the joy of giving that Kentucky Baptists show by their giving through the Cooperative Program. The financial aid that our students receive from the Cooperative Program allows us to keep our tuition at a very low rate. Because of our low tuition rates, we are continuously ranked as one of the most affordable Bible colleges in the country.
The joy of giving that Kentucky Baptists exhibit towards Clear Creek students each month inspires our students to give back with that same joy.
This season is always a very special time on our campus. We love celebrating Christmas and the reminder it gives us of the greatest gift that was ever given to the world — our Savior Jesus Christ.
This season is also a time where we celebrate and give to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering on our campus. One of the things I am most proud of is the fact that our students learn about the importance of giving to missions and the Cooperative Program so when they leave us, they will lead the churches they serve to do the same.
Each year we set a campus goal of giving to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. I always enjoy watching the joy of giving among our Clear Creek family as we give toward reaching our goal.
We are so thankful for the Cooperative Program and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. We are proud to be a part of our Kentucky Baptist Convention and our Southern Baptist Convention that provide for our missionaries so they do not have to be concerned about raising their own ministry support.
Thank you Kentucky Baptists, for your joy of giving. You continually inspire our students to exhibit the same joy of giving. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us at Clear Creek!
